PROGRAM UPDATED - PHAROS workshop: Online repository for the equation of state and transport properties of neutron stars (WG1+WG2)
PHAROS WG1+WG2 workshop: "Online repository for the equation of state and transport properties of neutron stars"
February 24-26, 2021
Virtually through Zoom
https://www.astro.unige.ch/
The focus of the workshop is to discuss and set up a framework for an upgraded and extended online repository for EoS models and associated transport properties.
The repository will be based on the CompOSE catalogue and with an easily readable format, standardized over different communities, ready to use in simulations and interpretation of new data. The workshop aims at defining specific tasks and potential teams to undertake them.
We encourage everyone with an interest in using or/and contributing to such a repository to register on the website of the event. Registered participants will promptly receive updated information on the event and will be able to edit their registration preferences at any time. News on the event will also be posted on the workshop website.
The format of the meeting comprises morning and afternoon sessions, each featuring mostly invited focused talks and a few contributed talks followed by discussion focused on the needs of the modeling community, the open questions related to CompOSE and the associated deliverables of PHAROS.
The final program is reported below (CET time). Invited speakers are marked in bold.
