First summer school on Space research, technology and applications
The First summer school on Space research, technology and applications for young scientists and PhD students will be held at the National Astronomical Observatory - Rozhen, Bulgaria from 5 to 11 July 2021. A versatile coverage of topics from theoretical astrophysics to engineering and computing are planned. Both online lectures and on site training sessions, led by experienced mentors, are intended for the participants distributed over one week.
At the end of the school, each team will present the results from their practice. In addition, each participant is expected to present a short overview of their research topic during the dedicated (PhD) session.
The deadline for registration and registration fee payment is 30 June 2021.
A limited number of registration fees can be waived. The deadline to apply for support is 30 May 2021 and the notification for provided support is planned for 5 June 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, not more than 20 participants can attend on site.
